Peer Review Process

The IJIMHS is dedicated to ensuring that its publication standards remain high by adopting a stringent peer review system, which is double blind in nature. In this process, both the author and the reviewer are kept anonymous to ensure an unbiased evaluation process.

Every submitted manuscript first goes through an editorial check followed by distribution to appropriate reviewers.

Initial Editorial Assessment

Each submission is evaluated for:

Those manuscripts that clear the editorial review process go ahead for external peer review.

Reviewer Evaluation

Reviewers assess manuscripts based on:

Editorial Decisions

Following peer review, one of the following decisions may be made:

Decision	Description
Accept	Manuscript is accepted as it is.
Minor Revision	Some minor corrections are needed before publication.
Major Revision	Revisions are essential before re-submission of the manuscript for consideration.
Resubmit	A revised version of the manuscript can be resubmitted for a fresh review.
Reject	The manuscript fails to conform to the standards of the journal.

Constructive reviews are offered to the authors when feasible to assist in the improvement of their articles.
