Submission Guidelines

The International Journal of Integrative Medical and Health Sciences (IJIMHS) operates an effective manuscript submission system, which is meant to guarantee objectivity, quality, and timely decision-making. Authors are recommended to familiarize themselves with the scope, authorship instructions, and ethical considerations of the journal before submitting their manuscript.

Submission of a manuscript implies that it is original, unpublished and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should be formatted and reported following the guidelines of the journal.

Submission Process

Step Process
① Prepare Format your manuscript in accordance with the guidelines for authors of the journal.
② Submit Submit the manuscript together with all the necessary documents using the journal’s online submission system or the official email address.
③ Editorial Screening The editorial board reviews the manuscript for its relevance, originality, quality, and ethics.
④ Peer Review Relevant manuscripts will be sent for double-blind peer review by independent experts.
⑤ Revision Manuscripts are revised by authors taking into account reviewers' and editor's comments.
⑥ Editorial Decision The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for making the final decision regarding publication.
⑦ Production & Publication Accepted manuscripts will be copyedited, proofread, formatted, and published online.

Manuscripts should include:

  • Title of the manuscript
  • Full names and affiliations of all authors
  • Corresponding author's contact details
  • Abstract and keywords
  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • Funding information (if applicable)
  • Conflict of Interest statement
  • References prepared in the journal's prescribed citation style

Tables, figures, and illustrations should be numbered consecutively and provided with appropriate titles and legends.

Before You Submit

Authors should ensure that:

  • The paper is within the scope of the journal.
  • The paper is original and unpublished.
  • The manuscript has ethical approvals where necessary.
  • All authors have approved the submission.
  • References are complete and correctly cited.
  • No conflict of interest exists.
